The limited-edition Thurston Moore Jazzmaster, which ditches some of the more elaborate electronics of the classic design, was released a few years later as part of a set with a blue model made for Sonic Youth bandmate Lee Renaldo.

This company has made instruments of exceptional quality, for Fender and others. The CGS ,I believe is for China -Gree- Squier .

Now I admit, I used to turn my nose up at Squiers. But after doing my homework, such as reading every review I could find and listening to what others had to say, I was ready to take a chance.
